Two of the A-League’s frontrunners meet in a Friday night blockbuster, with table-topping Western Sydney Wanderers heading north to take on Brisbane Roar.

WSW are riding a high on the back of last week’s victory over their nearest and dearest in the Sydney derby, and remain unbeaten through the first five weeks of the season.

The Roar won last weekend, too, defeating Perth at home, and have impressed all year under new coach Ross Aloisi. They’ll be looking to take their biggest scalp yet.

One could argue Wanderers didn't really deserve that, but two moments of quality were enough, and Hollandia should've had more. Good game - thanks Mike.

FT That'll do it! WSW keep their unbeaten start, but they shouldn't have. Roar made all the running but couldn't get a third and, against this Wanderers side, that is always going to be a problem. Given that we thought we weren't going to get a game at all, that was an absolute belter.

90+5' Roar back on the attack, but not getting anywhere. Would be harsh for anyone to lose this... 2-2

90+1' What drama to end the game here. We'll have another few minutes of it too, both sides going for it now. 2-2

Corner comes in, it's met by Aldred and Rylan Brownlie turns home! They'll check this for offside though...and it is! VAR intervenes!

89' Roar get a FK up the park...and it should be another goal! The rebound falls to Cahill and his shot is saved by Thomas, who had no right at all to get there! 2-2

Oh no, Brisbane. They drop off so much, Younis is allowed to cross with no pressure and the Swedish striker is on hand to nod into the bottom corner. Roar had so many chances and then concede the softest of goals. 2-2
