Two teams looking to put winning runs together do battle as Macarthur FC and Perth Glory clash in Campbelltown. Stay up to date with their A-League clash with live scores on The Roar from 6:05pm (AEDT).

After having their spot in the top six threatened, new side Macarthur FC have responded strongly with two straight wins against teams they needed to beat. The Bulls are still more vulnerable than their ladder position suggests, but their response to the dip has been encouraging.

Perth Glory are a side hoping to catch them down the stretch and can do themselves a huge favour by beating them tonight. Glory are six points behind Macarthur entering today, but have two games in hand and superior goal difference – meaning a win today would close the gap dramatically.

Macarthur should be celebrated as one of the world’s only teams to be conceived during the pandemic. The last twelve months have seen other overseas football teams fold, but in Australia we’ve flourished. It says a lot about that strength & potential of the A-League. Best of luck to the Bulls.

MacArthur are now up to 2nd, exceeding even Western United's inaugural season last year. Shows that both clubs have intelligently built competitive teams from the start. Their play and CCM's drastic improvement show that in the A League a club can become competitive within a season with smart coaching and intelligent squad construction. Are you listening Melbourne Victory?

This McArthur side were very impressive in this game. They are moving the ball with speed, accuracy and more importantly advancement, and with the tireless "old' English player at the end of the movements, goals appear to be inevitable. They have a good balance of players in the team, experience where it matters, with the goalkeeper, centre-back, midfielders (2), and central striker giving the team a solid basis on whjch to build. It is going to be interesting to see if they last the pace. Perth have problems. Their experienced players are going through the motions and their former strike force is being left isolated with the resultant lack of service. They need new blood. Cheers jb

At the game - enjoyable to watch. Macarthur looked good and their support is growing. Their first game at home with good weather and on a good night at a good time. Their was a good atmosphere and hopefully, with time, it will continue to grow and become more boisterous. And the cow bells are fun - the kids and quite a few adults love them. As the Bull Pen becomes noisier the bells will be heard but they will become background noise - nothing like a vuvazella.
