In desperate need of a win, Perth Glory are hoping to taste success against a Newcastle Jets side with struggles of their own. Stay up to date with their A-League clash with live scores on The Roar from 9:20pm (AEDT).
Things were looking up for Perth as they went from late January to the end of February with win after win but, since then, they’ve not been able to win again. Their last five matches have seen them suffer three losses and settle for two draws and, while they’ve been far from embarrassed, they find themselves tenth on the ladder and in need of points.
It’s a similar story for the Jets, who haven’t won since February 7 and haven’t scored more than one goal in a game since January 24. They’re currently on a five-game losing run and hit a new low on Sunday after falling to Adelaide by a hefty 4-1 score.

Awesome match. Castro has got to be the best player this league has seen, besides maybe Berisha. Considering the players that Glory have, they should be playing like this every match. Hopefully they can climb the table after this.

I didn't realise we'd signed Geria, he's been fantastic.

True, but that was a fair second-yellow. I'd expect Glory to hang on, only because it's Newcastle.

Wont be surprised if Glory with a man down score a few more goals.

Red cards are cruel, & they destroy the flow of a game. Perth would be shattered. Newcastle, however, would be licking their lips. If Glory can hold on, they are the real deal.
