Ash Barty has found something close to her best form tonight in a high quality 3 set win over Danielle Collins. Her serving over the final two sets was first class and kept her in the match during periods when Collins was cracking winners all over the court. She managed to stay poised and take her chances when they came, using her forehand to great effect. There is still some improvement in Ash Barty prior to the Australian Open but she is approaching her best. She will now go on to play Dayana Yastremska in the final.
