I came on this website looking for info on HD or even 3D viewing. Very disappointed that its only in SD. This is a massive event, how about some proper TV support NRL, ARL, Ch9 ???

Ch9 are to old and have used their use by date for any telecast and especially their commentary of RL. They have always treated us like idiots and the classic example of that is their commentary team, that continually talk about everything and anything except the footy. Throughout a game of footy we have at least 10-15 min waisted by video refs and then with Ch9 we have at least 20 min waisted with irrelevant things from their commentary team. It's about time that the ARL looked at getting a more professional network to do the NRL and any RL broadcasting. The way that it is now its a joke and an embarrassment to us all.

It is broadcast in HD around the world except Australia. Channel 9 is a joke of a network. I'll start watching about 8.30pm and skip the crappy build up, buffering until the end.

If the ARL wants State of Origin to be the preeminent Australian sporting event to showcase to the world then broadcasting it in HD is paramount. The fact that it isn't in HD, in today's day and age, is a disgrace.
