Couldn't care less about either team but it'll be good to see an A-League team back on our screens albeit in an exhibition match.

i am delighted to at last see reference to where and how you can watch the football on TV There are many who for a lot of reasons would dearly love to watch the games but cannot find reference to where or when the broadcast will be shown. An example is advice that Chanel 9 will do the broadcast but a lot of viewers like me would not know that channel 9 has other operating outlets. So for those who live 1000k from the game and those who need help with the new systems around the world PLEASE BE SPECIFIC IN INFORMATION to us oldies as we we wish ti increase the acceptance of this wonderful game

They've got a bit more publicity than normal in Brisbane today. A couple of articles in the Courier Mail (players got paid, hooray), and decent reports on both Ch 9 and ABC news, didn't watch others, plus on radio. Actually, more publicity than Roar gets mid season. And you wouldn't know that the Springbok are in town for a rugby test on Saturday, but the Broncos still totally dominate. We need this publicity.

Understood Bondy, and it was the new AWAY kit, not home kit, but I didn't know that Trouble is I think it's newsworthy, well a sound bite at least. There was nothing in the media, zip, and I gave The Roar a 'heads up', an exclusive if you like. As Brett McKay wrote ,some months ago when I asked him about 7's Rugby, he said 7's rugby didn't have 'cut through'. The phrase was new to me, but I understand it. My little story about Liverpool, one of the most recognisable football teams on the planet, didn't have 'cut through'.

Its an interesting little bite these Clubs take in with the " new year kit " hopefully more money/revenue will arrive, where realistically they're re hashing the kit they wore five years ago , Arsenal did pretty much the exact same thing last night in Singapore then went onto to a 4-0 routing of a Singaporean Invitational 11 ...
