WATCH: Villanova score buzzer beater to win NCAA Championship

By Roar TV / Roar Guru

March Madness lived up to its name with a crazy end to the NCAA Championship decider between the Villanova Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels.

North Carolina led by five-points at half-time but Villanova rallied in the second to lead by three going into the final 20-seconds.

The Tar Heels then tied the game up with a three-pointer to Marcus Paige. Just when it looked like the decider was heading to Overtime, Kris Jenkins got the ball away just in the nick of time from downtown to clinch the title for the Wildcats.

Two miracle shots in the space of 5 seconds!?! Like it's not unusual to see one miracle at death, or to beat the buzzer... but to see back to back miracles in such an important game beggars belief. I kid you not... the first miracle was pretty tasty, but geez the second one had me flying outta my seat. Well done Nova for defeating the Chapple Hill mob in a great game with a truely fantastic finish.
