The Broncos continue to do enough to win games without looking overly impressive. It will be the end result that will be pleasing coach Wayne Bennett more than the process at the moment.
The Broncos conceded three tries inside the first 10 minutes last weekend but from that point forward got the better of the Sea Eagles, albeit thanks to a couple lucky tries.
In team news, James Roberts returns at centre with Jordan Kahu returning to the wing and David Mead to the bench. Ben Hunt has been named in the reserves and is an outside chance of making a return from injury.
For the Tigers, Mitchell Moses was this week finally released to the Eels and Jack Littlejohn starts in his place at five-eighth.
Luke Brooks will start at halfback after being cleared of any wrongdoing in a nightclub brawl last weekend.
The Tigers will also be bolstered by the return of captain Aaron Woods with Ava Seumanufagai making way.
Kyle Lovett replaces Michael Chee Kam on the bench.
The Tigers are outmatched in the backs in this matchup and that’s where they will lose this game.
The silky skills of players like James Roberts and Jordan Kahu will prove problematic for the Tigers all night.
I can only see this match going one way and it is pointed towards a dominating Broncos win. They are bound to click for a full 80 minutes and when they do it is going to be hard to stop.
Prediction: Brisbane by 20.

Great work from the Broncos though. After an incredibly tough draw to start the season (Tigers being the first dud team they have played in 11 rounds), they move into the Origin period either 1 or 2 on the ladder. Can't ask for more than that - and when you consider they are still to really put together a complete 80 minute performance and have had their halfback out for the past month or so, it really does bode well for the rest of the season.

This game was woeful and the Tigers have many problems, the Ch9 coverage is absolutely disgraceful, Gould, Warren and now Fats have spoken about everything else (for 1/3 of the game) except the game, not that the game was that crash hot.

Tbf. I never thought potter or Taylor were the problem. There's something toxic in either the playing group or the admin if not both, and it's been there for a while now. Probably got glossed over due to the stop start success of Benji and Farah but you can't tell me that Sheens, Potter, Taylor and now Cleary are the problem.

BRONCOS BATTER TIGERS The Brisbane Broncos extended their winning streak to 6 games and confirmed their top 4 credentials with a dominant 36-0 over the Wests Tigers at Suncorp Stadium tonight. Luke Brooks was a late out for the Tigers and they missed his creativity dearly in attack as they were held to zero. Both sides traded sets early on in the game until the 14th minute where Tautau Moga opened the scoring for Brisbane. From there on, the Broncos punished all of the Wests Tigers errors with tries. James Tedesco threw an errant pass in the 33rd minute that led to an intercept by Jordan Kahu and he sprinted 40m down field. Tedesco was subsequently sin binned for laying on the Broncos winger too long. Brisbane ran in two tries just before half time while Tedesco was in the sin bin and the match was as good as over. The second half was one of few highlights. The Broncos halfback and man of the match Kodi Nikorima and five-eighth Anthony Milford crossed the line for tries early in the half. On a sour note for the Broncos, hooker Andrew McCullough suffered a nasty head knock in an attempted tackle gone wrong and was taken to hospital as a precaution by club medical staff. His injury caused an extended pause in proceedings whilst the medicab took to the field. Josh Aloiai for the Tigers suffered an ankle injury late in the game and was also stretchered off the field. The Broncos will be most pleased by being able to shut out the Tigers who in all fairness didn't offer too much in attack fielding an untried halves pairing of Rankin and Littlejohn. For the Broncos, they face the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland next weekend and will lose a number of their players to State of Origin duty.
