Can the South Sydney Rabbitohs claim their tenth win in a row or will the Wests Tigers keep their top-eight hopes alive? Join The Roar for live scores and a blog of the match from 5:30pm (AEST).
The Tigers will be looking to celebrate Robbie Farah’s 250th game for the club in style and build on last week’s 20-16 upset win over the Dragons.
The victory reignited Wests’ dwindling season, with the eighth-placed Broncos just four points away.
The home side will need to find more points if they are to claim yet another big scalp though, as they come up against the best attacking team in the competition (Wests rank 15th for points scored).
Fortunately, they have recent history on their side, having won four of their past five against the Bunnies.
You would have forgiven South Sydney for being complacent last week against the Bulldogs. They were heading into the match off the back of the bye, without skipper Greg Inglis and had little to prove after winning eight-straight games.
While Anthony Seibold’s men started the game slowly, the end result rarely looked in doubt as they cruised to a 24-6 victory.
Motivation shouldn’t be too hard to come by this week though, with John Sutton expected to play his 300th game for the club.
Having overcome the lowly Cowboys and Bulldogs in recent weeks, this Saturday’s clash with the Tigers will be a welcome challenge.
Prediction
With a finals spot within reach, desperation should see the Tigers snap the Rabbitohs’ winning ways.
Wests Tigers by 4.

yeah, that clown will be the same bloke that will write that the Tigers will win the comp after this game. That was absolutely ridiculous and Sammy handled that interview pretty well but, Robby didn't get injured from Sammy's across the chest tackle he's head got bumped by Hunts chest, there was nothing in that! The bottom line here is that the Bunnies were their usual self's against the Tigers, the Tigers were more intense all across the park (which should have been apparent from last week) as we don't have a good record against the Tigers and they beat us the same way every time, never mind, we needed this loss as we have some big games coming up until the end of the season which culminates with the Tigers.

I am usually very anti Farah. But gee he has been good for the tigs since his return. Good on him for showing such professionalism. Gotta give credit where it is due

Didn't look very threatening in attack but credit to the Tigers - their defence was very strong.

What an upset! And good job for picking the upset. Great game by the Tigers following their mammoth effort to upset the Dragons last week. They've beaten Rabbits, Storm and Dragons this season. That is no fluke! Ivan Cleary is building something good at the Tigs.

FULL TIME - The Broncos may have won last night, but the Tigers' finals hopes are still alive after they ran away 22-6 victors over the Rabbitohs tonight. What an effort from Ivan Cleary's men! Luke Brooks brilliant. Souths poor. A much-deserved win for the Tigers. I can't hang around long because I'm live in just under 10 minutes with the live blog of the Cowboys vs Dragons match.

Agree with Geoff... I’m not a fan but his done well fitted into their gritty style in what was a weak area for the tigers at dummy half and is adding value.

79' - Smart kick on the last by Luke Brooks who has been superb in controlling this game tonight. He finds touch 15 out from the South Sydney line. TIGERS - 22 RABBITOHS - 6

77' - Souths with yet another chance to make the final scoreline more respectable. They are 10 out from the Tigers' line on the third and Sam Burgess looks to link with his outside men but the pass is touched and the Rabbitohs have six-again. The Bunnies get back-to-back penalties and Burgess throws it out to Angus Crichton but it is a poor pass and he drops it! TIGERS - 22 RABBITOHS - 6

Yeah - never been a massive fan of Robbie but good on him for going back to his old team. Benji and Robbie have been very good for them when they've got on the park this year
