Bad blood between Martin and Gold Coast, he aint going back. Melbourne had decent money aside for Jamie Elliot which will now go to Martin in the pre season draft. Silvagni overplayed his hand, he was greedy in trying to get Papley and Martin combined for pick 9. If he offered Sydney pick 9 for Papley and maybe 44 I am sure they would have taken it – Sydney told him where to go for pick 25 and papley for pick 9 and rightfully so. What odds will pick 9 in this draft will be better than Papley for the rest of their careers? 33%? Silvagni is incompetent and needs to be fired!!!
