The season simply cannot end soon enough for the last-place Crows, with their losing streak (dating back to last season) extending to 15 after their thumping loss to the Bulldogs last week. The prospect of them becoming the first team to go through a season winless since 1965 looks more and more likely.
The Cats couldn’t enter this match in more opposite circumstances, having demolished top four contenders St Kilda and Port Adelaide in the space of five days in an imperious reminder of their flag chances. They’ll look to further press their premiership credentials with a clinical display here.
Adelaide lost both of their meetings with Geelong last season, having enjoyed a three-game winning run over the Cats prior to that. The Crows are in the midst of their worst ever losing run at home, although the Cats have lost on four of their past six visits to Adelaide.

Sorry (and in your case I really am sorry) and it is truely nothing personal, but if violent insectile 8ft tall footy playing aliens challenged earth to a winner-takes-all footy game for the stakes of eternal domination of the planet and the human race, I would be the first one buying a ticket with my “I welcome our new Alien overlords” banner in my other hand :crying: I’m sure there will be lots of neutral games though where we will be able to hang it on all those other 16 despicable teams together as one :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Yep got it wrong so the first time ever I will like a post that says "go blues" without the words "to hell" in-between them :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: It should be a compliment in a way; it says you are on plenty of threads, are generally non-partisian and probably doing the good Aussie thing and going for the underdog (and if ever there was an underdog, it is Adelaide this year)!
