The Collingwood Magpies begin life under new coach Robert Harvey against the Fremantle Dockers at Marvel Stadium. Stay up to date with the action on The Roar with live scores from 1:45pm (AEST).
There’s no doubt it’s been a tough season for Collingwood in 2021, but they actually come into today’s game on the back of a two-game winning streak. They were very impressive against the ladder-leading Demons in Nathan Buckley’s last game in charge and have a real opportunity to build something meaningful in the latter portion of the season.
Fremantle are technically in striking distance of a finals spot, but their poor percentage means they’re, in essence, another four points behind than the ladder indicates. Still, they’ll be confident of securing just their second win away from home in 2021 with the aid of several returning stars.
The Dockers have knocked off the Magpies in both of their two most recent encounters, but they’ve been close. Last year’s result was a 12-point win in Freo’s favour, while in 2019 it was just four points. Freo have actually won three of four meetings between these sides at Docklands Stadium.

If Port pull that off then it would be a masterstroke. Hardwick looks to me like he is rebuilding Richmond on the run.

I don’t think we will make the 8....but isn’t the game better to watch. So much more attacking. All positive.

I'm thinking more along the lines of jumping Sydney. They're a game and % ahead but if they lose to Port tonight and WCE next week...hmmmm.

I’d give them fifty fifty shots against Geelong, west coast, Richmond and Sydney .

nah u misunderstand me woof woof, relax mate im not saying u had anything to do with it, im pretty sure we are on the same page re who may have wanted it removed, pretty pathetic if thats the case . to be honest couldnt give too much of a toss, this used to be a much more fun place & there are still blokes i enjoy a bit of banter with (that includes u most of the time) but lately its full of negativity & aggro, that plus the ads causing it to jump around has me considering why i waste my time on here

Apologies mate, you’ve misread my meaning. I’m disappointed our conversation was deleted. Because someone else may have reported it. You and I would have no reason to have that banter removed. My point was that someone else does

Sven, I can assure you that I’m not the reporty type. A certain other supporter of your club may be. Hence why our earlier discussion was removed. I thought our convo was friendly banter and would have no reason to remove it. As I posted, you can see my point now
