Sydney head to Perth looking to keep their top-four hopes alive, but face a mighty challenge in the form of a Fremantle outfit with their sights on the top two. Join The Roar for live scores and rolling coverage from 7:50pm (AEST).
Both sides come in off impressive wins, with the Swans blitzing the Bulldogs at the SCG, while the Dockers continued their unbeaten run in Victoria this year by downing the Saints.
In-form wingman Blake Acres and defender Heath Chapman return after missing lengthy periods through injury, with the Dockers’ team growing even stronger. With Nat Fyfe capable of either running through the midfield or providing a marking option in attack, slotting three goals against the Saints, it’s hard to find a weakness in the men in purple at the moment.
The Swans’ slick ball movement will be a fascinating contrast to the Dockers’ disciplined defence, on a ground at which the Swans have had plenty of success. Their only change sees injured ruckman Peter Ladhams make way for another more than capable big man in Tom Hickey.

Now talk about his last 4 seasons. Your knowledge of footy is the worst of all Roarers. No idea.

Lobb is way better than Taberner. Treacy is a must to replace Tabs and Amiss needs games as well. Get some games into the young draftees and give Sturt a crack. Move old man Walters on. Can Freddie, Colyer and Clark perform when final times come ?

And thats all I was asking if you check it out.lmao.

The true facts on Taberner….His average is 1.4 goals per game not as Don will tell you he has never kicked 50 in any one year. He is currently ranked 48th in the Coleman medal . Curnow, Cameron, Hawkins and other top ranking forwards are averaging 3 per game. Freo have never had a top line forward since Pavlich. Tabs is injury prone whose tackle count is less than one per game. He is lazy with a poor work ethic. I will repeat again Freo will never win a premiership with him in the side.

I don't count Lobb as a good forward, he's frustratingly soft. I also see him as a very weak ruckman and I see him taking the spot of better players. If he asks for a transfer, it will be a good thing. He doesn't need a temporary replacement. We have that spot covered.

No I never said that, your the one that brought the whole Taberner comparison up, I actually mentioned if lobb left like is being suggested.
Don Freo

You are suggesting Taberner's numbers indicate he is inferior therefore we need Franklin. Lots of AFL players have family in WA. Would much prefer Van Rooyen to Franklin.

I didnt bag taberner at all. All i asked was if buddy maybe a chance with family links and you came back with the whole missing games etc mis information and all I did was correct that. Again I did not once say he was a bad player, you took that on by yourself.lol.

If you don't know what Taberner offers, you mustn't watch him play. Creates 4 or 5 goals every game plus whatever he kicks. He didn't make AA 40 squad for no reason. Any discounting of Tabs as a key forward is based on a lack of understanding of his game. Regarding Buddy, he'll get no offers. He'll take whatever low ball Sydney offers...or retire.

Which is as many well actually more than Taberner. Whether he's worth it is another question altogether but he hasnt missed more games like you originally said.

Dockers went away from their pressure game in the second half. Swans were smart and kicked short and Dockers weren't smart enough to adjust. Dockers looked really tired in the final quarter and I can't help wondering if the two ins shouldn't have come back thru the WAFL. Swans deserved the win and for us next week is a new week.
Don Freo
Roar Rookie
Not for his position. He'll finish top 5 in the Doig. That free was a ridiculous over-reaction to Clark. Tom McCartin was doing that to Tabs at every centre bounce.

Def. an option if he's serious about getting the coin he wants and the Scones continue to low ball him.

Pies are doing well, I’m sorta hoping that it ends soon though :stoked:

Yes, but you are still referring to the "last 3 years". He's 36 and missing games this year. 3 years ago, 2 years ago, last year, this year are not applicable to whether or not he is worth $700k next year. He just isn't.
Don Freo
Roar Rookie
It's what I'm expecting...although it looks like Geelong might relegate us to 2nd.
AdamDilligafThompson
Roar Rookie
Umm you said that buddy misses more games, which in the last three years buddy's actually played one more game. I would of though most forward lines could benefit from having buddy there, it would free up those younger forwards and off the field the knowledge he could pass onto other forwards would be priceless. Not that he's likely to leave but I think Melbourne could be a perfect fit for a year or two.

Consistency is key, beat those lower teams and you'd be almost a lock in to 1st place.

Last 6 years? That's the point. He is now 6 years older. Tabs is better. Freo does not want him and wouldn't even consider him. I'd suggest there would be no interest from any club.
