Our best is better than our bad at the moment and we have improved from last year. They’re gettting wins and even dominating for long patches which has been better than I was expecting at points this off season. 2-0 is a win.

The thing is . . . no-one cares. They've drawn a crowd of about as many people who commented on this Freo game. Not many. Tim Paine is right about the S.S. and the way teams play! Look it up and learn. 3peat? Good for you. very little to celebrate prior to that.

Vics list to WA twice, both within 3 days. WA 3 peat in both forms.

It is. A 22yo is a 22yo.

Sorry I thought your rankings were by age. Look I don't read too much into those stats, ie my original point ..

What is he... 38?

Freo Average games: 55.4 (17th most experienced) NM Average games: 48 (18th most experienced) https://www.afl.com.au/news/1066782/list-analysis-where-does-your-club-rank-for-age-and-experience Not much of an argument anyway when WCE are more experienced than both Freo and NM.

At least they had a crack at a large total in Tassie! Not like your boys who stonewalled for a draw.

No!

How about those Vics in the cricket?
Don Freo

Freo just as young. The two youngest in the AFL.

My point was more about Don making claims that can easily be refuted. Still finishes with "just as young" but it is not true. Or maybe it is true for this particular game, but I doubt it. He certainly didn't work it out and present some facts. Better not to make a claim on something factual unless you know it is right. Whether it is significant or not is the real debate. I would say 0.7 years is significant. That is 3 extra seasons in the system for every 4 players on the list. Maybe 16 seasons across the squad for a match. Incidentally according to afl.com.au Freo are 15th not 17th. I think 23 players with finals experience vs. 7 for North probably counts too.

Agreed. After that horror show first quarter i'll happily take the 58pt turnaround, 26pt win. Head home to prepare for Adelaide next week.
Don Freo

Just as young.

It’s hard to argue there is much difference age wise or experience wise. Age: Freo 23.9, NM 23.2 Experience: Freo is 17th, NM 18th. Over 50 games: Freo: 29 NM: 25 Over 100 games: Freo: 10 NM: 8 So minimal that it changes as players chop and change off the ground. It’s a harsh reality that North should be better at home against the Freo’s (lower to mid table teams) of this comp.

I don't know, you are the one making the claim. I am just going by information readily available, which is the average age of a squad. I am not going to work out match day or at a moment in the game. Oldest to youngest list is 2.5 years difference on average, so yes it would be a matter of months.

Voss has done nothing anywhere yet. Already delisted by one club. Taberner is proven and did well again today.

One of the best on field.

You might be right. Still the Best ever Perth F1 driver. RB needs to challenge Max by giving Yuki the other seat….
Don Freo

Just as young. What is it; one month or two months the difference? Freo was probably younger the moment Fyfe went off.
