Two of the AFL’s biggest clubs, the Richmond Tigers and Collingwood Magpies, head out to Wangaratta in country Victoria as the Marsh Community Series brings the game to all corners of the land. Join The Roar for live scores from 4:10pm (AEDT).

Both sides are predictably missing plenty of big names due to Friday night’s State of Origin clash. Absent for the Tigers are captain Trent Cotchin, Dustin Martin, Jack Riewoldt, Tom Lynch, Bachar Houli and Shane Edwards, while the Pies will need to do without Scott Pendlebury, Steele Sidebottom, Darcy Moore, Jeremy Howe and Brodie Grundy.

Tigers cult hero Jack Higgins returns for his first game since undergoing brain surgery late last year.

Early days, but it seems like Groundhog Day with a soft tissue injury already. Best things to come out of these matches is giving the kids some exposure whilst coming away injury free.
