The Kangaroos welcome back co-captain Jy Simpkin from a concussion layoff, while the Eagles have lost their own skipper Luke Shuey. It’s difficult to see either team getting a better chance this year to break their losing run.

I can see your reasoning and if we end bottom I'll be stoked with the likelihood of Reid but I also reckon can you imagine what another win would do for long, Hewett, Chesser, bazzo, Hough etc even for ginbey, if we win another at the expense of Reid yet had positive impact impact on our core youth already there and still got our choice of anyone bar Reid and academy/father/son it would be worth it imo. Reid will develop into a class player and has shown a bit but I am sceptical of the talk cause it's gotten quite OTT, like he'll be Ablett snr and jnr and even Nathan combined.

I respect your opinion and 90 out of 100 I would normally agree with you IF the top 2 to 3 picks were pretty even BUT this years draft (pick 1) isn't that year. Think of Judd with more height and power. How could you not see the Vic clubs + Vic media are dying that West Coast are/were in the box seat to snatch the best Vic talent they have seen in many many years? All this (Vic) media bashing means nothing if we get pick 1. They will always hate us so let's get Reid and stick right up em. :thumbup: Ignore the Perth media, they have a different agenda, more to do with politics.

Why? Cause wce are a proud club and wooden spoons aren't to be celebrated. We're probably getting Syd 1st round and I wouldn't be shocked if GCS 1st round comes to us. We've shown splitting pick 2 for ginbey and Hewett was pretty good so you may want pick 1 me I don't care if it ends up at pick 2 and all the footy shows kicking us with worse than Fitzroy malarkey wasn't actually true and there are solid reasons to our year.

Ppl forget Rd 2 wle had a best 22 and Rd 3 until the injuries during the game forced us to leave injured players like Ryan on the ground we where looking more likely victors than Freo. Damn that game laid waste to the season.

Lobb actually played ok on weekend, two weeks in the reserves got him singin to a new tune. Missed a couple of easy goals one of them was 1 meter out another 25 mtr de.d in front. Lost by 5 points.
