Absolute howler and an embarrassment for the game. Anyone that thinks this pitiful decision NOT to clearly see this was obviously touched should hang their head in shame. How is this acceptable??? Disgraceful

It’s ok for the field umpires to miss it but not the ARC. Luckily only embarrassing, as if GWS lost by less than a kick it would have been a tragedy. Mind you GWS got rub off the green last week with the throw that got them the winning goal v Lions. Dogs supporter.

The umpires are in charge of the game, there was insufficient evidence to overturn the decision. Decisions on these hairline occurrences are never going to be perfect and we shouldn't be demanding perfection. Fortunately in the end it didn't matter, errors late in the game may give insufficient time for them to be overcome but this was not one of them. The decision wasn't based on the evidence that was presented on TV and to my eye that wasn't conclusive anyway. Anything for the media to drum up controversy.
