Hamish you are 100% culpable for this mess.

'I'm not a quitter': Under-siege RA chair won't follow Jones, blames 'broken system' for chaos

Just waiting for Christy to write an article about how he will be missed!

Eddie Jones quits as Wallabies coach - 'Sometimes you have to eat s--t for others to eat caviar'

A bit off topic but at least Eddie is GONE GONE GONE……

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

Yes a good few All Blacks in that Cavaliers team… they got hell for going. But I agree, looking back and trying to make a prediction on what might have happened is fools gold.

'There's never a winner, just the next battle': The intense 102-year old rivalry that 'neutrals can't quite comprehend'

All such teams are debateable but I think you have done a good job. However I feel you have selected Whitelock on past exploits and emotion and one ruck steal. I would have Barrett in there for shear aggression and running/tackling skill …. And he is a pretty handy lock!

'Bloody handy!'- Nine All Blacks and six Springboks in The Roar's World Cup final combined XV

I was backpacking NZ in 1981 and went to the game at Christchurch in the old Lancaster Park which got demolished by the Earthquake. The red squad police with the batons and the linked protesters breaking onto the field and throwing tennis balls of tacks (or fish hooks) was an abiding memory. We were all so naive in those days thinking politics and sport should be seperate. Of course they are inextricably linked. But the game was excellent.

And just wrong in the case 0f 1987. In that year NZ were light years above the competition and I don’t see SA would have stopped them.

Agree with your top four except I would put SA at 2 and NZ at 3. Also I am not sure why you have such a low opinion of NZ as they are excellent one day players, as proven over many years. It almost seems like you would not have them in the top four – except they have a 4-1 start.

Cricket World Cup Power Rankings: England are rubbish and so are Pakistan - but here come the Aussies

All Blacks

RWC News: 'Take some gas out of that bomb' - ABs' response to Bok weapon who's 'some human', twist in Bongi slur saga

Well we know the AB are lightness and good ( from comments on this forum anyway!) so you are going for the bokke? Hahahaha.

RWC News: 'Take some gas out of that bomb' - ABs' response to Bok weapon who's 'some human', twist in Bongi slur saga

Actually the tackled player is already required to release the ball. It is already a penalty and making it a yellow card would be harsh imho.

Rugby’s descent into cynical play: Why neutral fans should back the All Blacks for the good of the game

Maybe just make the penalty for infringement less severe – such as a bent arm free kick instead of a penalty?

The scrum saga: It does not feel right that teams are exploiting the penalty 'treasure hunt'

Nicely done. Well if we are talking about rule changes I have a couple to throw in the ring. 1. No one should be allowed to enter the playing arena unless called by the referee (yes I am talking to you waterboys and trainers masked as medics) – only exception being a medical emergency.
2. The advantage rule for penalty or scrum should last for three clear phases and then be at an end. ( If you want to make this 5 then okay, but it needs certainty). This will bring some certainty to players of both sides and the fans.

You will need to be in front especially with the way your kickers seem to have lost their boots. Where is Dan Carter when you need him!

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

It was probably the Editors Geoff but the headline does make it seem like the others are not at the “big boys table” so I can see how that may seem condescending. Regardless of what your actual article says….. let’s blame the sub-editor.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

That would hurt.

The water boys should not be allowed on the field without the refs permission and the medics only for a medical emergency without the refs permission.

No question the top 4 teams in the World are so close that any particular game would be too hard to call. Referees calls, rub of the green, how players mentallly wake up, are all things that will matter. With only two of the top four still in the comp, I see SA and NZ playing in the final. I beleive that NH and SH rugby are the closest they have ever been in my memory….. and I am old.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

England fans did the same against the Fiji haka. Was a disgrace. Unfortunately if you don’t have a sportsman’s bone in your body you just don’t get that it is wrong. That’s why the Irish and English fans don’t see it.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

The Assistants or the TMO did not get involved and tell him in his earpiece that the ball went forward or backwards? They usually do.

RWC News: World Rugby's epic troll in semis ref call, legend snipes at 'bandwagon' Kiwi fans, Bok great roasts Poms

When I was playing we purchased our own kit and the rego was minimal – just covering things like insurance.

Rugby union vs rugby league: A footy dad's 'little experiment'

Well if Eddy stays there will be a few authors/Gurus here with massive egg on their faces.

'He's got to be honest'- Wallabies legend's message to mate Eddie as ex-skipper says Jones 'never committed'

In the professional era maybe.
