Dak had a brain explosion and should have found an official and given them the ball rather than to his centre. You know, to follow the rules that the official has to spot the ball.

The Cowboys only have themselves to blame . It was a poor performance at home against an average team in the 49ers. There was no certainty of them pulling out a miracle last gasp win even if they got the next play away ?

They didn't even know the rules and clearly hadn't practiced this or if they had, forgot to include the ref and rules in their planning.
