The second T20 between Australia and Bangladesh gets underway this evening. Join The Roar for live scores from 10pm (AEST).

There’s no rest for Australia who must bounce back a day after losing to Bangladesh by 23 runs.

It’s Australia’s batting that’s under pressure following a mediocre series against the West Indies and being bundled out for 108 last night after chasing an average total of 131.

Mitch Marsh is one batsman leading from the front. He’s been in a purple patch and the Aussies will be relying on him again to anchor the innings at no.3.

Before that, though they’ll need a better opening partnership. Alex Carey was out on the very first ball of Australia’s innings last night.

Bangladeshi bowler Nasum Ahmed took 4 for 19 in Game 1 and the Aussie will need to find a way to keep him out.

"Mr. Elite Honesty" has developed such a losing culture which is hard to believe. Playing the same tried and failed players like Tye, Wade, Henriques, Carey and expecting different result. Trying to turn openers into middle order players again and again and leaving out specialist such as Handscomb, Silk and Inglis. Boasting the squad with 11 bowlers and with no reserve batsman, what a little genious!!!

I want nannu to make an explanation as to why Nurul was dropped from our white ball teams after the 2017 tour of nz

Game over as Afif Hossain uppercuts Hazlewood for a boundary. Bangladesh win by 5 wickets with eight balls to spare. Nervy chase but afif and nurul hasan were outstanding today. As for australia, they were fine till Henriques was dismissed. Lost the plot from there and missed out on positing 140. Hopefully a slightly better wicket for the third t20 on friday night. Thank you to everyone who tuned in on a late weeknight.

Consecutive boundaries mean bangladesh need 4 from 14. One hit away

Hazlewood surprisingly still hasn't been bowled out despite it being the 18th over. Feel wade missed a trick here

13 runs came off the 16th over. 19 needed off 24. Game in Bangladesh's hands now but you never know with the tigers

Five overs left. Bangaldesh 5/90. Afif and Nurul Hasan batting quite sensibly. Can they take Bangladesh home on a wicket tough for new batsmen to start on?

Great effort in the field there from alex carey but unfortunately his attempt goes in vain for six. Bangladesh 5-82 after 13 overs. Thriller going right to the wire here. Still feel Australia are favourites

A streaky edge by nurul hasan ends in a boundary. Bangladesh 5/71. I would say this game is in Australia's hands now unless the bangladeshi bats wake up and bat sensibly

Mahedi stumped. Goes down the wicket, zampa pulls his length back and Matthew wade does the rest behind the stumps. Bangladesh 5/67 and in deep trouble
