Sri Lanka will be looking to wrap-up the ODI series against Australia when the two sides meet for the 4th ODI tonight. Join The Roar for live scores from 7pm AEST.
Sri Lanka have a 2-1 lead in the series after an inspired run chase in Game 3.
Pathum Nissanka was the hero with an incredible knock of 137 off 147 balls. In the end, Sri Lanka coasted home by 6 wickets and 9 balls remaining in a sizeable run chase of 292.
Australia’s bowling options have been limited with injuries and it was greatly exposed with Marnus Labuschagne bowling 7 overs and Travis Head having to chime in for an over.
Still, credit has to go to Sri Lanka for the way they’ve taken advantage of Australia’s misfortunes. They’ve gone after the newcomer in Matthew Kuhnemann after he made an impressive debut and they’ve also handled Australia’s best bowler Josh Hazlewood.
Australia will be chasing an even bigger total if they bat first to try and take some of the pressure off.
Let’s not forget that Sri Lanka is also missing some key players including Wanindu Hasaranga.
Their depth has been impressive and they’ll be backing themselves to win again despite the bookies still favouring the Aussies.

Hi stuck. It just how it roles, it been commented on Aust for ages. The country has a lot of different sports to watch, it not being on FTV, I followed the games on here and cricinfo for score update, through the evenings till about 10pm. Not sure if a radio station is covered by it, that’s how I mostly catch sport.

Yep. Scheduled before a test series we are desperate to win - whey else would Moderate Marnie be getting so indulged?

It's only an ODI series.

so we have to wait for every two years before Australian cricket fans will flood this website again. Besides Ashes the fans eson roar show negligent interest in the game especially in the white ball format. Today they lost an odi series but it hardly seems to have bothered anyone in Australia. England take everything series when it is international

In fairness, he's found some touch on this tour. If he wasn't captain, he'd have been dropped but he is so it's a moot point
