It was all laughs for the Aussies after the first session, picking up four early wickets. That attitude crept its way into the commentary box as Kerry O’Keeffe delivered his usual gold.
I reckon not as many as we would hope.
Skull definitely does though. He turns up to commentary with full notebooks based on having watched everyone that is, or is likely to be, playing.
I wondered to myself how many of these guys watched any of the just completed India vs NZ series? (and not just seeing a clip of Patel’s 10 wicket haul).
And yes, it makes a change from our traditional "ugly aussie" commentators, who basically seem to have little knowledge of tests & series not involving Australia.
He might crack some good (and terrible!) jokes, but when he’s not playing the class clown, he has such a great cricket knowledge and analyst brain. :thumbup: :cricket:

I never come on to The Roar and give my opinion until I've spent 3-5 hours of research in preparation beforehand :laughing:
