WATCH: Nepalese wicketkeeper goes viral for amazing sportsmanship against Ireland

By The Roar / Editor

Nepal wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh has been praised for deciding not to run out Ireland batter Andy McBrine after he was accidentally tripped by the bowler.

“We speak so often about where the spirit of cricket has gone,” the commentator said. “Take a bow Aasif Sheikh. I’ve got goosebumps here in the commentary box because that’s a touching moment.” Ireland ended up winning the match by 17 runs.

Can you cite an instance where an Australian player has run someone out under similar circumstances, or are you just sniping for the sake of it?
