His keeping in the last few matches has been brilliant. Will look forward to watching him play test cricket for at least two more years.

Yes Paine is really struggling. Opened and made 54 off 68 balls in the one day match against SA. Only got out trying to hit the winning run. Took three brilliant catches including your hero Carey. Oh by the way Carey made 4.

He’ll get his swan song most likely but at the cost of settling our side for future tours in 2022 it could cost us. Paine will be selfish and hold on under the weak CA pr machine. Right thing to do is step down and get carey and inglis in there asap both could play and clock up big runs as smith then aets better fielding choices and tactics and uses the drs much better . Such a shame we lost to india and drew in England when the pressure was on timmy really cost us results .

If paine and wade are anything to go by nowadays and paine only makes 2 runs in this lower grade well you have to wonder what he’s doing in the test team let alone captain
Perfect or don't you mean australian captain keeper . They could have played smith and let him wicket.keep although he'd smack 200 runs instead of two runs and take a few wickets at half the average
Dia dora league , it most certainly isn't test cricket let alone shield . Timmy was out batting for a few runs and got smacked for 60 runs with ball off ten overs . Sounds thrilling
