The Cronulla Sharks host the Sydney Roosters in Saturday night NRL. Join The Roar for live scores of this Round 12 clash from 7:35pm AEST.

Cronulla have breathed a sigh of relief with Siosifa Talakai, Wade Graham and Ronaldo Mulitalo cleared of injuries and expected to face the Roosters. The key trio were each sent for scans on Monday night after picking up problems in Sunday’s win over Gold Coast. Talakai’s ankle had remained the biggest fear for the Sharks, while Graham had required scans on his foot and Mulitalo his shoulder. However the three stars were named on Tuesday afternoon to face the Roosters, as Cronulla aim to fight to stay in the top four before the State of Origin period.

Should Wade Graham switch to the middle permanently? Graham switched to lock and seemed more at home. The former five-eighth has got the ball-playing ability to make more than a good fist of that position but the Sharks already have Cameron McInnes and Dale Finucane already on the roster performing similar duties.

It’s remarkable that Jared Waerea-Hargreaves gets to line up tonight for the Roosters after clocking James Fisher-Harris in the head followed by an expletive at the referee. As The Roar’s Paul Suttor argued this week it’s “another example of the judiciary reset at the start of the season allowing a repeat offender to escape with a fine.”

But alas, he is there and the Roosters will welcome his presence in a big game on the shire.

The Sharks have lost some lustre over the last 5 weeks. Beaten 3 out of 5 games . Only just defeated the Titans , plus defeated the Warriors in there. Defeated for a second time by the Raiders , who had 3 in the bin during the game. Plus now defeated at home by the Roosters.

Definitely a behind on the scoreboard try. If you can't stop it from falling, you've lost control.

That was less of a TRY than the one that was disallowed for Dane Gagai and THAT was a TRY IMO.

It should've been an eight point try.

McInnes spilled that and didn’t regather. No try.

Hang on! Much as I don't want to defend the Roosters, a few weeks ago the same thing happened to Dane Gagai and they took the TRY off him. No difference. That too was a TRY IMO.

Not quite 3 seconds, but agreed overall. My point is that the ref was probably 0.01 seconds away from calling it but that he should have called it earlier.

Not sure we’re talking about the same thing, although I’m not sure what play you’d be referring to anyway? I was talking about Manu slowing the play after stopping the line break which definitely shouldn’t have been an 8 point try.
