Round 25 of the NRL premiership continues with the Penrith Panthers facing the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium in Gold Coast. Join The Roar for live scores from 5.30pm (AEST).
AJ Brimson will return from his rib injury and has been named on the extended bench. Keaon Kini was named at fullback but is now on the reserves bench with Jayden Campbell switching to five-eighth for veteran Kieran Foran (sternum).
Debutant Thomas Weaver is the other playmaker with Tanah Boyd out for the rest of the year with a shoulder problem.
Moeaki Fotuaika is back after a one-game ban for a high tackle. David Fifita will pay $3000 instead of challenging the judiciary, copping the fine rather than risking a two-match ban.
Jarome Luai (illness) and Mitch Kenny were late scratchings before the win over Manly so Jack Cogger and debutant Luke Sommerton have made way this round. Tyrone Peachey is back from suspension at centre with Zac Hosking surprisingly relegated to the reserves.
Spencer Leniu is a chance to return from a knee injury after being named in the reserves.
Penrith could put a cricket score on the Titans if the premiers play to their potential.
Gold Coast, if they play really well and the Panthers play poorly, could keep the losing margin under 20. Panthers by 22

That second Swedish goal was deflating. But don’t give up hope yet. Congratulations to Penrith on what was ultimately a comprehensive win. Commiserations to the Titans. Hope next season builds into a successful foundation for you now that you’ve secured Tino and David.

I posted a comment when the game started, got all excited about the Titans' first try. But my comment didn't get published. :unhappy:

I’m Good. Too much sport isn’t enough at the moment. On the Tilda’s also.

Titans have done well in the second half. Normally Penrith would have run away with it.

No crowd comments? That’s v unusual. No interest in the match up or more interest in the Matilda’s?
