Come on let’s keep it real. In 2018 Robinson picked up Cronk, Keary both halves that had Won premierships at other clubs. Then he had Ferguson and Tedesco all over 250 games experience mostly at other clubs. The average age of the Roosters was about 26 by my estimate in 2018 with around 100 plus games average each. Jake Friend alone had triple the games of the entire Broncos forward pack last night and that’s without counting JWH, Cordner, Taukiaho. What was the average age of the Broncos 22-23 Starting side the same age and experience as Lindsay Collins.

Matth, do not disagree as far as leadership goes however the missed tackle count was abysmal

What is Paul White's role in replacing Bennett with Seibold? I can recall when there were rumours of Henjak getting the boot, White said "Ivan is a mate of mine. If he goes I go". White was being "sounded out" as NRL CEO. Hopefully not. Couldn't run a pub raffle.

Strong words TR, but I agree with many of your points. I'd go further though. Sure the coach is responsible for the team's performance and culture. But I've always had a theory that success with a football team starts in the board room, not the dressing room. Siebold did not pick himself as the Broncos' coach, nor does the coach ratify who gets paid what. Maybe there should be more focus on the Broncos' senior management.

To be fair, there is no Cooper Cronk or Jake Friend in the Broncos side to Marshall that youth. They are leaderless.

Can Anthony Siebold coach? I've suspected for a long time that he can't. Apparently Anthony is a good fella, that's fair enough. But to be successful as an NRL Coach you need to have more than offering a good perception. Anthony is the quintessential modern day Manager. Most people in Management positions these days are the same, they walk the walk, talk the talk. You know the ones who are moving forward, having discussions around it, working towards the projections. If none of that works they have a review. They generally talk about IT, but when it comes to the crunch, they can't do IT. When Anthony 'white anted' Michael Maguire to take over at Souths I began to smell a 'rat'. Souths were a bit stale under 'Madge' & at the beginning Souths were revitalised under Seib's. They were leading the comp 2/3 of the way through. Every radio NRL program was lining up to hear Anthony's words of wisdom. The finals came around & Souths lost, then didn't change the way they played & lost again. Gone in straight sets. The following year Souths under Anthony were worse than they were towards the end of the 'Madge' era. But the Bronco's saw that Anthony Seibold really was the Messiah. They confirmed this with a multi million 5 year deal. Since taking over at the Bronc's, what has Anthony achieved? Can he turn around their fortunes? Admittedly they have a number of players unavailable, but when you can pick 1/4 of all available NRL talent for your team, you'd assume that there would be considerable depth. The only sad thing about the game last night was that the Stadium wasn't full of all those loyal Bronco's fans, because the stadium would have looked the same as it did live (empty) by the 43rd minute. Can't say I'm not enjoying the NRL.

youth has nothing to do with it Anthony, stop making excuses.......that was pathetic pure and simply inept. Have a look at the average age of the Roosters team that won the 2018 grand final and tell me you cannot coach youth. Well you might not be able to coach youth but Trent Robinson most certainly can.
