By The Roar / Editor

Intentional from Ryan Hall?

It was because of momentum in the tackle - to be charged is ridiculous- the dragons player deliberately tried to trip Keary and should have been sent off

Yes it was. His knee was heavily strapped so he couldn’t resist twisting it. That type of dirty rubbish might be ok in the super league but it has no place in the NRL

I don't know about a deliberate twist. In normal speed, I'd give Hall the benefit of the doubt. A winger in the NRL who hasn't scored a try, that's going to take some beating. He'll be doing nudie runs all the way back to the U.K..

He'll probably get 6 weeks and the bloke with the trip will get a fine ( suspended).

NO!!! it was just how the momentum of the tackle went. He went for a legs tackle & only managed to get Lomax by the one leg. As far as I can ascertain Hall has never had a Judiciary appearance in his outstanding Super League career.

Didn't see anything like what has been suggested.

Didn't think it was intentional when I first saw it last night and after watching it again I still don't think it was. Didn't even seem like Hall realised what he had done until Lomax said something to him.

Probably not. I don't think anyone goes out to deliberately injure another player. Things happen in games that are played at 90 miles an hour which can later look bad because they are slowed down and replayed over and over. Yes he did twist that knee but I doubt that he was conscious of what was happening and I certainly doubt that it was intentional.

Of course it was intentional, he was trying to roll him over the touch line, by twisting his leg.
