Greg Alexander questions the 8-point try given to Roosters after CNK contact on Matt Ikuvalu

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad was placed on report for high contact on the Roosters winger while he was scoring the try – but not everyone agrees it was the right call.

CNK slides in with knees and has his arm tucked to his side. Both elbow and knees contact Ikuvalu in the head. 8 point try if ever there was one.

Raiders fans whining about the CNK hit on Ikavalu have short memories if they want to complain about that given the same illegal hit literally gave them a win against Parramatta.

He appears to be in a state of wanderlust, Penrith Premiership pending.

Not an 8 point try. As they said if he had dropped the ball would it have been a penalty try. No. One camera angle shows the actual hip contacting the shoulder. One of many wrong decisions, not as great as the one to follow the Raiders.

Poor old Alexander. The game's gone past him a couple of years ago

I love CNK but I can’t see how that isn’t an 8 point try. He doesn’t even try to make a tackle and makes contact with the head. Thought the refs got it spot on.
