Long time rugby league supporter and sports fan generally. My football playing days were characterised by a deceptive lack of pace, very late tackles, and unexpected chip kicks coming off our own line.

I love your optimism Andrew but I predict the Dragons to run tenth 😔

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

I think he’s a better option than Hopoate at 1, and Hoppa can play centre

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

That’s probably all us Dragons and Bulldogs fans have to look forward to this year

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

Hey Crispy. Yeah, they’ll be three spots apart. Dragons 10 and Bulldogs 13. 😊

Broncos have 16th place all sown up for mine.

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

Agree Paul – I’d hate to see Barrett, Brown or Gould anywhere near the Dragons.

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

My take on the questions raised by Eddy

1. Melbourne are specials to go back to back this year

2. The Titans should have enough going for them this year to sneak into the top 8, probably at 7.

3. I don’t see the Bulldogs making any waved this year, and I predict that they will finish in 13th spot

4. The Panthers will fight it with Canberra and Parramatta for 4th spot, and are a real possibility of missing the top 4

5. I think the Warriors will finish outside the top 8. I’m not convinced that the Brown/Gould marriage will survive and I don;t really rate their recruitment.

Paulo, the answer may be to get Smith in the bunker for the Melbourne matches

Corey Allan may yet prove to be their best buy

Five questions ahead of the NRL season

Yes, I think that the jury’s still out on Barrett’s ability as a head coach.

Let’s hope that he doesn’t fall victim to the infighting at the Dogs

Hi Tiger, Outten sure did have a great game that day

Great stuff Larry.

I loved the era when problems got sorted out on the field rather than by the match review committee.

The forgotten players: Balmain Tigers

You need to mix it up a bit when the entire club disappeared 21 years ago.

If I put down 17 one gamers, no one’s reading the article.

Thanks John, however I see with disappointment that your much vaunted new year’s resolution is now nothing but a distant memory.

Pant’s batting isn’t annoying, just his constant chatter.
