By The Roar / Editor

The Eels met the Broncos in the 2019 finals series and they handed the Broncos a record-breaking 58-0 thumping.

This video captures Darius Boyds season perfectly. Not only was it poor positioning and lack of commitment, when the ball bounces off his back there is no effort at all to scramble or try to make up for the mistake. He simply walks casually towards the sideline and watches everyone else attempt to stop the try.

Waqa Blakes attempt at ruining the try was worse than Boyds effort, truly terrible. The amount of players who are lacking some simple skills is amazing. Two of the last 4 grand finals were probably lost due to centres lacking a simple ability to pass to the ball to a support. What are the coaches doing?

Months later and this is just as funny now as it was then. Thank you Darius - and thank you Broncos!

A full of season training at 5/8 will do the trick.

Let me get this straight, you're an Aussie, you know about gallipoli and you saying Winston Churchill was faultless?

Pick the odd one out. Category. Great leaders. Winston Churchill. General Montgomery. Darius Boyd.

To be fair to Boyd, the ball was Milfords to catch. He sat back on his heels. Boyd was looking at shielding and the result looked terrible. Neither of them had any idea in defence in that game.

Not sure who is the most over-rated League player I’ve seen, but Darius Boyd & Will Chambers are definitely in the discussion.
