Sounds as if you think you’re somehow missing out. What aren’t you getting?

And that makes you exactly the person to speak up on this. Nobody’s victim and not interested in playing the race card. Respect.

Yeah, maybe, yet I feel sorry for that kid's family, and was appauled by the actions, of a few. I didn't jump to the conclusion it only happened because he was black, nor am I protesting. I'm part Aboriginal, enough to be regerested if I chose to, yet I'm not (registered), nor do I tick the Aboriginal/Torres Straights Islanders box. Yet I still don't understand the BLM message, when they really mean all lives matter, or why they protest/rally. So yeah, maybe "I'm broken".

You are just broken, you are have no empathy and are beyond help.

Rellum, so why don't we have a black haired, or white haired people lives matter protest, or young lives matter (he was young too)? What's the point of protesting about a specific group? Doing some basic maths I'd bet more people will die from COVID directly contracted at these events globally, especially in the U.S, than lives saved from these protests. If all lives matter, stay and home instead of protesting. Simple, non political, effective.

Yes, black lives matter, so what about instead of protesting it, they could make a donation to a global charity, even if it was as little as the cost of their bus/train fare that got them to these rallies. A couple of bucks multiplied by millions of people (globally) and you've made a huge, and constructive difference. Our federal, state and territory governments took additional measures to protect Aboriginal communities from COVID, due to the potentially more severe impact it could (might have had) on them and they get together in their thousands to protest (albeit about another "issue"). Nice. Using sport to promote "trendy" social/political agenda's is just wrong. I'm all for equal rights, genuinely equal rights across the board, but can you imagine the screams, from the minorities, if we actually did it.

Well you did. The "facts" you refer to are just your opinions dressed up in your own reasoning and some simply aren't right. That makes you an advocate. I'd like to think we can move on in the mutual understanding we can agree to disagree, we can respect others and their opinions, and we won't burn our town to the ground. Deal or no?

Yep - when somebody says "Save the rainforest" - it's not a condemnation of other forests

Didn’t advocate anything - just made an observation of the facts. The facts speak for themselves. And according to you, the facts advocate violence.

Antifa? I heard an ex-FBI guy on the radio say Antifa was not organised at all. He said it was a rag tag bunch of activists with no leaders. I’d value his view over something made up on the spot - like a Trump tweet.

Gee I seem to recall an Australian woman being gunned down by a afro American policeman not so long ago . In her pyjamas, by the way . No criminal history . And NO outrage . White Aussie girls lives don’t matter . Cmon grey brain , come and argue the point .

After 57 years I’ve learned that no matter how educated or informed I am and no matter how much I think I know, when it comes to racial prejudice and disadvantage this white man knows nothing. Let’s not pretend otherwise.

Doesn't matter what I think. Or you for that matter. What I don't agree with is you advocating violence in a peace loving society. Or is that what you want?

I heard they were damn quiet when a black policewoman was killed by a black man. I also don't hear much about them dealing with their own violence to each other and racism. I didn't miss as much as you supposed and my talking points come from a respect for life, not a political position. The core of the campaign is to be respected, and I'm a strongly against races and peoples being disadvantaged by certain systems and structures in the world. However, they appear to have been hijacked by hate and expressing it in an unhelpful manner.

Rubbish. You make it sound like Bob gets nothing. Yet 2.2% of the popultion (Bob) gets 10% of Australia’s budget. How is that “going without”. Stop the racism. Both ways.
