The Storm cheated and were punished accordingly... what is infuriating is the fact that they are still referred to as gf winners in 07 & 09 by many commentators. It’s a silly argument to say that they should benefit from perceived leniency. If the NRL went too light with the sharks then that is what they need to fix.
Depend on what you defintions are, the Sharks not only were done for cheating the Salary Cap but have also been done for the peptide saga for mine that makes it worse than having two set's of books. Sharks worst for mine then Storm then the Dogs in 2002.
What the Sharks might have done in 2015 and 2017 has no bearing on what the Storm DEFINITELY did over four years (2006-2010, and that's just the ones we know about).
The Storm were the biggest cheats in Australian sporting history. Nothing that followed at other clubs changes any of that.
The punishment must stand.
