Read what I wrote. I'm not defending it I'm saying it deserves a suspension. It was grubby and there is no place for it in the game. All I am saying is it's not the worst I have seen on a footy field and there are things happening in games that are far more likely to cause injuries. This is trial by clickbait sensationalist media. I heard someone say 12 weeks!! Really!

thats right Spud - Edwards should be charged with attacking Joeys swinging arm with his head. Yeah Joeys the victim here,he's never been the same since his kindy teacher yell at him.

Should have been sent right off period. It was high and dangerous. Edwards is hardly a tough nut dirty type of player, which makes Leilua's action even more odd.

Lets keep it in perspective. It was stupid and grubby thing to do but nobody got hurt and he more grabbed and pushed rather than swinging for maximum impact. It is far less dangerous than the third man in taking legs which is creeping back into the game or the twisting of players when their legs are caught underneath others. Not saying its acceptable and it definitely deserves a suspension but calm down.

The really stupid part is, a second after he did it, he knew he'd screwed up.

As they say a leopard never changes his spots.Professional has never been in BJ's footballing DNA. Obviously tempering his emotions is a bridge too far.Enjoy your holiday BJ -the trouble is there's nowhere to go.
