Maybe it's recency bias for you then. Mal played more games for Australia than the two guys combined Was captain for more games than either of their careers I beleive He hung up the 'Roos boots the same year as clyde's but was playing SOO when clyde was 10 years old and for the green and gold when he was 12 or 13. Outside of the immortals he's in the Aus sports hall of fame also, admittedly clyde is in the one for Albury-Wodonga

Yes and that’s one of the reasons I don’t like the Immortals concept. I don’t see them as having contributed much if any less than Meninga (for eg) but for some reason we can’t mention them in the same (Immortals) sentence.
