In 27 attempts Argentina have never managed to beat the All Blacks. Are they any chance to do so today in Buenos Aires? Join The Roar for live scores from the match, starting from 8:40am AEST.

If the Argentinians wanted to mount a case that they can take their first ever win over the New Zealanders then the form of both teams in the previous round of the Rugby Championship offers them some good reasons to get excited.

Last time around, New Zealand suffered a shock loss to the Springboks at home in a close affair, while Argentina held out for a rousing win on Australian soil over the Wallabies.

Returning home the Pumas will no doubt be chock full of confidence – but the problem for them is that the All Blacks don’t tend to lose twice in a row very often.

While last week’s loss no doubt made them seem a little beatable, it’s hard to imagine this supremely good New Zealand side being in such a funk as to drop two matches back-to-back.

Prediction
All Blacks to get back on the horse with a 15-point win.

That local broadcaster that you mentioned only shows the facts showed the footage to the referee where it showed a boot dislodging the ball and the ball travelling backwards and let the try stand. Try again.

Have you ever seen someone run in rugby boots without lifting their knee?

Cheers mate, we are starting to show some guts, we still lack consistency, short on experience and no settled back line. Our forward pack is looking good though. Kolisi is growing in his captaincy and he is starting to lead from the front which is good to see.

The ABs just do the job, set piece dominance n the result was never in doubt. The ref was terrible n even had the TMO scratching his head. The Pumas have some real issues to sort out for next week.

TJ dropped the ball, no one kicked it, when it happens a regular referee marks a knoc on. Watch it again, be objective.

Blue 14 got unconcious because of the impact, that is why he released the ball. Even if pushed, the black 2 shouldn't rise his knee.

Local broadcaster (ESPN) only showed the facts. If you can't admit that AB were playing beyond the rules you are a blind that do not want to see. Thhe frechie ref awarded 2 try for the AB that he shouldn't. I'm feeling sorry for the All Blacks, being helped for the ref desitions (is not the first time this year). From now on, I know that any team is playing against AB is also playing against the referees.

I wondered about that, couldnt see any flags but there had been torrential rain before kickoff. very slippery conditions. both sides did well, with good ball skills. argentine first five is a cracker, missed an easy kick, but otherwise was one of the players of the match. interesting to see ardie play a big game at eight(not the size of the dog, but the amount of leg drive etc etc).

Agree completely OB, was being facetious in the light of earlier comments from others.

OJ Agreed. That last qtr AB pack were so dominant considering how many 2nd pick players, were on the field.....I was impressed. Also, that pack has to be history-making considering 5 of those 8 players, were pacific-island heritage - that was a first for me, to see so many in an ABs pack.....and, didn't they do well??? Well done to them and to Hansen and Co for recognising talent, when they see it.

And also the maul collapse just 2 plays prior to Tuipulotu going over. I waited for the ref to call advantage to the ABs on that play but, it didn't come.

I was expecting a scrappy game to coincide with the number of changes made but, when I get to see 7 tries scored and some set piece dominance, then its hard to criticise. Btw, was there a decent breeze in the game because both hookers had difficulty finding their line-out targets and when they did, the targets had difficulty catching the throw-in.....
