The Blues lost this game in that place that they lost most big game - the top two inches. And with all their physical forward firepower (significantly reduced this season) they can't even compensate with that. They were somehow out-thought.

Fair, but the Crusaders who turned up tonight were on a different level to their first few games and this is their first home game since the Chiefs loss. I expect them to play like they did tonight.

Of course it's a tactic. So why do more referees stamped down on it early in the game with a yellow card. That'll shut it out quick smart

I thought the same. Once the try was disallowed due to a knock on it would go back to a cynical infringement/Christie in the bin. How Doleman forgot that is beyond me.

100% Deliberate infringements whilst defending their line...

Thought Doleman refereed surprisingly well, though the Crusadefs deserved a yellow card at the death with Christie nothing but cynical

The League instinct tells him to tackle up high and he gets bounced off

As great at RTS is beating players on offence how many tackles did he fall off. Also has no kicking game and at test level that’s a major weakness …
