Did a Nic Berry missed call cost the Tahs a try?

Dane Coles appears to illegally play the ball on the ground in the build-up to a Hurricanes try.

The game has sped up making it a tough gig for the refs. Perhaps the laws need to be simplified so they make quicker rulings

If he did, it wouldn't surprise me. Red Berry is very selective in his officiating or just not competent. Reckon his career as a Ref is at a crossroads. HE is now more scrutinised than Taniela's scrummaging. Well deserved, I say !

If it did cost a try then it probably evens out with that try from the horribly crooked lineout throw where the jumper had to lean right over to his own side to catch it....

Normally his missed calls lead to tries rather than cost them

I think the bigger blunder was forgetting it had been about 6 penalties in a row when Maddocks spilled the ball. Heck! He had even forgotten that advantage! It should have been a yellow card.
