HIGHLIGHTS: Deja vu! Another Hodge miss at the death sees Wallabies draw with Argentina

By The Roar / Editor

Just like in Game 1 of the Bledisloe Cup, a late penalty miss from Reece Hodge has consigned the Wallabies to a 15-15 draw against a plucky Argentina in Newcastle.

Don't blame Hodge with better decision making in 1st half the WB's wouldn't have been in that position For christsake take the bloody points on offer build the pressure and feed off the opponent's mistakes as they try to play catch-up Any thoughts on Liam Wright as captain He led the Reds excellently during the year I'd play him at no8

A telltale sign of a ball not kicked right is when - even if it is over - bends or sways in any direction before coming back (bar the wind). Many kickers accepted it in their repertoire but it is far from ideal. Renowned kickers always worked that out of their system.

Being the kicker is a tough assignment, any time. The fact is Reece often misses those long range kicks. Near doesn't cut it.

Get the impression it’s literally Hooper the MVP wallaby and the others are there to support him.... worst captain in modern era of sport. Actually can’t think of a worse captain in any sport

Well done to Hodge, he had stepped up and played very well. Though his two missed kicks have costly, his others kept us in the games. Not his fault.

He should no longer be allowed hail marys at the death. He simply is not good at it. Better to pass it to Hooper who thinks he's the best at everything
