Very similar to Nehe MS vs France in 2015 where both took the tackler out of it with a massive right foot step infield and run to the line. Eeringly similar run and field position.
Nah SP the step was so good that Farrell couldn't use his trademark tackle technique. Therefore he had no alternative but to try those shoulder extensions.
To be fair, Fiddlestix, Farrell did seem to wave his arms in the direction of Kolbe but by then Kolbe was already three time zones ahead of him. Farrell trying to use his arms in a tackle for the first time looked a bit like a fish trying to ride a bicycle.
Fitzy has an interesting take on ‘journalism’ in yesterday’s SMH. Page 32.
Attention has become more important than ‘truth’.
I have been a regular critic of the Roar’s video titles. It seems an adolescent/work experience competence that let’s the excellence in the rest of the Roar down.
Reminiscent of the loud blasting of irrelevant music ‘hits’ live at games. Too loud, too overstated. Distracting from the game.
Credit to the Roar for allowing our criticisms to appear here.
Ken,
Yes, I understand the value of 'clickbait'. The Roar learnt it from their mates at 'news.com.au'.
Some of their headlines are so "utterly insane" that they're actually amusing. But the laugh is on these people & their ridiculously ridiculous attempt at journalistic legitimacy.
Word is Farrel is still trying to tackle Kolbe with his smirk! Just Part of his arsenal bag of tricks - no arms tackles & soccer gimmicks to milk penalties!

The video editors are playing a social media game of overstatement Sheek. They do it to get clicks. Accurate representation is not a priority.

It was good, it was well executed, but it wasn't "utterly insane". I think The Roar editors are getting carried away with themselves.
