New kids Macarthur FC are looking to bounce back from two straight losses, and they’ll start strong favourites against the Newcastle Jets. Stay up to date with their A-League clash with live scores on The Roar from 6:10pm (AEST).
Last week was a rough one for Macarthur as they saw their winning streak snapped in a 2-1 loss to Brisbane, before going down to Adelaide 3-1 on Wednesday. That’s nothing compared to Newcastle, however, who are chasing their first win since February 7.

Venue: Campbelltown Stadium, Sydney
TV: Fox Sports
Live stream: Kayo Sports, Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go, MyFootball Live app

As much as I would have loved to see that, I'd be surprised to find anyone else on this site who had the Jets in their top six this season.

No but just personally i had picked them for a top 6 finish this season. As for Victory well you can only blame the club.

After everything that went on in the pre-season, you think that they're more of a let-down than the last placed Victory???

An interesting result. Newcastle are still clinging onto hope. The draw has also given Macarthur a slight nudge in the right direction, after a few losses. The business end of the season is upon us. Very little now separates the top teams.

All sports leagues and events here are excessively policed now. The A League have shot themselves in the foot with this attitude. But also some fans wanting to be euro style ultras: bringing in flares etc didn’t help.

Making a substitution in the 89th minute the only logical reason I can ever think is to cause the play to stop

Who's the clown who approved Newcastle to wear this strip?!! One of the most ridiculous change of strips that I've seen when considering NJ's normal strip!
