Ahhhh, the magic of football. You can draw or win a game without having a shot on goal. An on goal will do it :stoked:

wow I think I have seen 0 shots on target and win the game with an own goal but never 0 shots at all, and win the game with an own goal. MV didnt really have a quality chance in the second half, the header by Ikonomidis was the best, Folami had some shots on an angle where the keeper had the advantage. Italiano so far he is super poisonous tactically , its parking the bus, long ball, passing the ball around the back four.

Feels a bit like a win for the Nix given no shots on goal.

Booes ring around AAMI Park, presumably at the ref, but I'm not sure he's the one to be complaining at. Vuck had as much opportunity as they could have wished for, but couldn't break down the yellow wall. Nix are overjoyed with the point - as they should be, given that they didn't so much as manage a shot but somehow nicked a goal.

90+5' Ikonomidis now! Lino does well to keep the ball in and a cross is dinked to the back post - the winger meets it, but over it goes. 1-1

90+3' Chance! A ball in the box falls to Folami and his snapshot is smartly smothered by Paulsen. 1-1

Young Paulsen looks a star in the making. He bounces around like a young Iker Casillas.

88' Ikonomidis crosses, Payne heads behind. The defender gives someone both barrels and gets booked for it. In comes the corner, out comes Paulsen to punch away...Marchan volleys back but it's miles wide. 1-1 1-1

82' Marchan nips in for high turnover, but Ikonomidis is almost instantly crowded out. On the break, Geria brings down Zawada and gets booked. 1-1
