Perth Glory welcome Western Sydney Wanderers to HBF Park on Sunday evening in Round 13 of the 2018-19 A-League season. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 8pm (AEDT).

Perth Glory have had a stellar week and could top it off with a fourth straight win against a struggling Western Sydney Wanderers FC.

Confidence will be sky high in the Glory camp following Wednesday night’s 3-1 dismantling of Sydney FC. A result which sent them six points clear at the top of the ladder.

Perth boss Tony Popovic could include four former Wanderers players in Matthew Spiranovic, Brendon Santalab, Liam Reddy and Scott Neville in his Glory starting IX.

Markus Babbel’s Wanderers paid the price for poor defending in Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat to Wellington Phoenix and will be without key players for this match with Oriol Riera and Alexander Baumjohann both on the treatment table.

Prediction
Perth Glory were sensational in the first half against Sydney FC and went on to win comfortably. However they must pick up maximum points here to keep the pressure on the teams below them.

The Wanderers seem lost this season having only picked up two victories.

I can’t see past a home win.

Perth Glory 2 – 1 Western Sydney Wanderers

Perth Glory come back from 1-3 down to win it 4-3 with an 86th minute Juande penalty. A truly ridiculous second half of football that will live long in the memory of Glory fans everywhere. What a season they are enjoying and this never-say-die spirit Tony Popovic has instilled in his squad rose to the fore again in this match. Hard on Western Sydney who must feel shell shocked to be going home with no points. Glory retain their six point cushion at the top of the ladder and face Melbourne City FC next Saturday night. Wanderers host Adelaide United on Friday. That's it from HBF Park. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

90+4' Final minute of a pulsating game. Elrich is trying desperately to salvage a point for Western Sydney and he has won his side a corner. Very last chance.

SCENES! Unbelievable second half of football. Juande keeps his cool from the spot and slams the ball high into the corner of the net.

Keogh gets in on the action after a determined run from Franjic into the box. He slotted it away in accomplished fashion. Unbelievable game here. Which way will this game swing now?
