Sport in general can certainly be to win at all costs. How much is a championship worth? Priceless to some. As a hypothetical manager, what would I give to win? Everything. Maybe Sydney FC are ruthless. I don’t entirely know. Are they morally obliged to invest in the younger generation? That’s a good question. I’d hope so.

Wood could potentially also do that if given a run of games, we'll never know because he never plays, they'll also get a transfer fee if they sell him, bobo they won't. It shows you what sort of club Sydney is and always has been, a win at all costs; especially at the detriment to their youth

Adelaide's defence absolutely nowhere during Sydney's two goals.

The most beneficial element for Sydney is... Bobo. The currency in football is goals & Bobo is providing plenty (with more to come). Since Bobo’s addition, Sydney have looked more confident.

dude your only missing Jacobson and Lopez who would go straight into that lineup the others are fringe players except for M Toure.

But that requires you to travel away, being in your home state every match day is not travelling away

Sydney played Adelaide away the last time they met and at home today. That's how home and away works. Next week, we're away to Central Coast, then we're home to Melbourne Victory before yet another away game to The Wanderers. Do you expect us to fly to Adelaide for our away games to Central Coast and The Wanderers?

A real shame Adelaide didnt win this tonight, good game for once due to AUFC 2nd half.

Where was the added time for that as well? Typical east coast bias when you play Sydney in Sydney
TheSecretScout

Imagine if an Adelaide player did that? All the east coasters would be saying cheat. It just goes to show you how desperate Sydney are

Like I said, any team would struggle with 7 players out. All the nsw teams have had minimal Injuries this year and thats partly due to lack of travel

Dissapointed to not win that game in the end, it’s almost like we don’t want to go top. This has been happening for weeks

Because he is taking the spot of an apparently talented wood. What is more beneficial for Sydney? A young kid who might be good with a run of games? Or an OAP? It’s embarrasing that nobody under 30 scores for Sydney, they have to rely on mid 30s for goals

Because you don't travel anywhere

Andy, I don’t believe you have a crystal ball, no matter how much passion you have for your beloved Reds. “Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerer's ways, Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped you...” - Star Wars, EP4.

We have expert trainers who look after our squad and we had 3 players unavailable. Ended up a really good game that could have gone either way.

Impressive from both teams. Bobo really needs a bit more respect from his detractors. I recall a number of critics trolling his age, but conveniently forgetting his achievements.
