I think it's appropriate that most people feel outraged at the complete lack of respect shown by the host towards the top female footballer of the year.

Not sure what happened to my comment......in the ether. Anyway, it was in support for the idea that misogynstic comments be publically howled down as a means to moderate future behaviour from those thus inclined.

The outrage is interesting as it signals a change in the expectations as to how top female footballers should be treated. Such explosive responses do much to moderate the more excessive misogynsitic tendencies of presenters & administrators, though run the risk of generating unforseen momentum.

The biggest non-story of the day. Half-witted writers needing to create a drama to make a story about the award so that they can inject themselves into the storyline. Typical "look at me stuff" from the intellectually challenged which gets reported as news.
