Their opponents, the Western Sydney Wanderers require three points to ensure they stay in the path to the finals at AAMI Park. How to watch:

TV
This match will be broadcast by via free-to-air TV on channel One, and on Fox Sports 501.

Live stream
You can live stream Foxtel’s coverage of the match by using the Foxtel App if you already have a Foxtel TV subscription, or Foxtel Now if you don’t.

Preview:

The visitors have had the upper hand in terms of form both against City and recently. The Wanderers and City drew last time out at AAMI Park although the Wanderers got a win on the board against Warren Joyce’s men beating them 2-1 at ANZ Stadium when Oriol Riera and Mark Bridge were on the scoresheet.

Centre-forward Riera is the form player for the Wanderers, although he missed out last week due to injury he has scored four goals in his last four games.

He’s back in the squad this week however key midfielder Marcelo Carrusca is omitted due to a quad strain and right-back Josh Risdon is away on international duty for the Socceroos.

Bruno Fornaroli didn’t have the football Gods on his side in the City of Churches last week, having his penalty saved and a goal ruled out for offside by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Stefan Mauk got City a point in Adelaide with his third goal of the season.

City haven’t found any consistent form since the beginning of the year winning only four games in 11 in 2018 as Bruce Kamau returns to the match day squad after it was announced he and fellow City teammate Run Tongyik will be joining Western Sydney next season.

Prediction
I’ll predict the match ends in a draw.

A score draw. 1-1.

Arzani’s trickery, Bruno netting and assisting Mauk with a lovely back heel pass. WSW were sad.

SydFc get very excited by every time WSW fails & I'm sure the feeling is reciprocated. Nothing unusual about that, but I think if people volunteer to do this LIVE commentary blog they have to keep their biases away. I'm sure anyone involved with ALeague (not at club level, eg refs, administrators, match review panel, etc.) might also have an ALeague club they support, but I'd hope when they're doing their job for the ALeague, they leave their bias at the door. Maybe, it doesn't bother you because you support SydFC and most of these blogs are administered by SydFC fans. But, as an MV fan I get sick of the petty jibes at Berisha & various MV players if they go in for a robust tackle; whilst the same behaviour is laughed off if it's a SydFC player.
