The NRL Round 13 teams have been revealed.
Wests Tigers coach Matt Maguire will field an almost unrecognisable lineup this weekend following last week’s shock loss to the Warriors. Harry Grant, Alex Twal, Ollie Clark and Luke Garner are all out, while Billy Walters has been dropped to the bench. Coming into the lineup are Asu Kepaoa, Joey Leilua, Luke Brooks, Sam McIntyre and Russell Packer.
Brisbane, meanwhile, regain David Fifita and Brodie Croft, but lose Anthony Milford to a hamstring injury.

FFS exactly, though there is the suggestion he didn't give a false name, just didn't sign in at all. either way, FFS what are they doing. I was counting on busting chooks tonight..

Official! Paul Vaughan is out replaced by Kaide Ellis

Breaking News! Paul Vaughan may be ruled out of tonight’s match against the Roosters for breaking COVID-19 protocols. He apparently visited a cafe & gave a false name. FFS

I was hoping we would end up with a much improved Clifford doing the the game managing thing with Morgs running the ball at every opportunity. Now Morgs will have to run the show . The problem with that is that it really takes away from his running game. Plus his kicking games varies between acceptable to ratsheet. I hope I'm wrong but this doesn't look good to me.

Well in my little QLD world it is anyway.

I think Widdop’s family were happier with the lifestyle in Wollongong verses COVID-19 riddled England. Now having said that I don’t think it’ll happen, why would the club do it? He didn’t leave on great terms & he’s got a dodgy shoulder. I posted somewhere earlier today that the most likely landing spot for Norman is Canterbury. Foran looks unlikely to stay & if the Dragons ate a large part of Norman’s salary it might work. Either way I’m pretty sure Norman has played his last game in the red V

Agree didn't think it was terrible, but I'm trusting Robinson's view over mine on that as he may have been asking for something and Flanno hasn't done it

Hey Andrew, you seem to have your nose to the ground, what do you hear of the Widdop rumour? My birdies whisper is that he is looking for a return to NRL, not necessarily with Dragons. They became embroiled in the saga simply because they are looking to offload Norman and some journo cooked up a scoop. Also, they might be one of the few that will take him without a medical clearance on that shoulder. Personally, while he's good, I wouldn't want him at the cost of Sailor and Sullivan.

A bad tradesman always blames his tools. Not to say that Maguire is a bad coach but there's a stench emanating re his capacity to change himself from the coach who got sacked from Souths. Maybe he's just an average tradesman.

I bet he is back next week ! With all his regained form !

Nope, he’s been dropped Still gets to rest his shoulders

There’s nothing wrong with Flanagan’s form. He is just been given a rest as he has been targeted heavily in defence for weeks. And he has been missing his good “shot gun” in Crichton in recent times. He needs his shoulders rested for a week. He will be back next week for the Storm game to try to keep Munster quiet.

Yep ! I did the same Api / Smith trade as you. But I think I might take my Panther boy back again with the draw we have coming up, and he looked good again last week. And i’ll probably swap McInnes for Harry as well this week, and play them both. Cook has been rather ordinary this year till the 2nd half of last week and the Bunnies don’t have an easy draw coming up. With the shortened season, I have enough trades left to get through to the finals.

Robbo said form had slipped so Lam deserved a shot to show what he could do but sounded more like a bit of a warning to a young player. He did point out he'd dropped Manu, TKO and Aub at some point too

Is there any reason why Flanagan is not on the team? Injury? Dropped? Rested?

That pretty much sums it up. I agree that Norman is unlikely to be seen in a red v again. I don't think his dropping was a spur of the moment decision.
