Easts have gone crazy...dropping J Moz and retaining Fumbles Ikuvalu All NRL coaches have worked out that the Roosters weakest link is Fumbles Ikuvalu Two weeks ago Canterbury bombed him at every opportunity, as did Nth Qld last week Newcastle will send bomb after bomb Ikuvalu's way...and true to form Ikuvalu will stuff up Remember the 60-8 thrashing against Souths last year?..Ikuvalu let in 5 tries...Alex Johnston was literally scoring at will Why go into a match with such an obvious weakness? Until Easts make a change on the right wing, they will continue to suffer the consequences

Good to see the Broncos haven't tinkered with their left edge defence. I'd miss the comedy value. I assume Kelly is injured, otherwise I'd sooner have a shop mannequin or even Milford at half than Croft at the moment. Farnworth is a shocking defender and Croft makes him so much worse. Hopefully Gamble can put a wristband note on this week that says Pass To Staggs.

Given how well Melbourne are going, it might be worth Grant putting the cue in the rack for this season.

Grant at the Storm was one of the things this season I was most looking forward to… feels like he’s only played about five games

Sorry. Badly worded. Turbo is the one I am focused on getting back. I'll wait and see on Cleary.

I am a bit of a fan, though he lost some brownie points by being at the BBQ. However, you do have a point and given 'a' above I tend to agree with you - but while they are a chance - Dufty must be in the team. They look toothless without him. If/when they are out of contention I'd only be running out with guys who will be there next year. The question this raises is why they are looking to move him on when he's clearly the best FB (currently) and best attacking weapon in the club. Nobody seems to be overly worried about the defensive flaws of Walsh, Walker and other young playmakers and Soward was a speed bump so they should be able to cover for him. I could work something out and I can - they can - he'd be awesome as a 14. Anyway, - once they are out of the picture he'll be benched.

I did the same with Turbo but got him back in… I think when Cleary was injured Johnson to Cleary is going to cost you 500K+, more if Johnson doesn’t get moving

I have let Cleary go with his injury, and I let Turbo go for the Origin period, but he is the one I am focusing on now to bring back (but a big price now !) though should partially offset by a Johnson trade out.

Looks like Grant won't be ready for next weeks blockbuster either.

9 trades !!! That’s brilliant… I have two and was hoping to get Cleary back in when fit, which will soak up two trades… but back to the drawing board

I tend to agree. If Luai runs the team and May is just there to run the ball when needed, Penrith is a stronger side with Burton in the centres. Will ne interesting though, I don't really rate May.

Absolutely its been a season of injuries. We know of the woes of teams like the Roosters and now Panthers but the Storm have never put their best team on the field this season. There's always been injuries or suspensions..and to their top players too...Grant and Paps have missed extensive time through injury. NAS suspended or injured, Hughes, K.Brom and now Jennings couple of games through injury...Finucane, Welsh with HIA issues missing games. Thankfully the backup players like Hynes, B.Smith are top class.

Yep ! Disaster for many SC players. I have been reasonably lucky so far, but I recently added both Alex Johnson & Tohu Harris ! So there are two to swap out again. I'm sitting with 9 trades left today before any trades this week.

He does seem to be an Ivan Cleary favourite ! Too ponderous for a half back in my opinion, but he does defend pretty well . If Luai takes the major playmaker role , and they have now stregthened their deadly left side with Burton back in the centres, it probably makes sense.

Very strange selection with Ramsey, might be a late switch? I know you are a fan mate, but I don’t understand how Dufty is parachuted back in this week, few reasons - a: he has signed elsewhere next year b: he literally ran away from the police at the bbq c: the young guy replacing him has been fantastic and could do with a run of games before inevitably taking the position full time next year

I can’t believe how brutal this season has been for injuries. Even with a host of Origin players coming back, there’s so many players missing As a secondary concern, it’s also been brutal from a SuperCoach perspective. Alex Johnston and Tohu Harris are the latest two who were supposed to be set and forget players for the run home. After replacing those guys I’ll have only two trades left for the rest of the season  :crying:

Yeah, recon they are just gonna ease Paps in gently. I would expect him to play 30mins tops at this stage. Also Bellamy might be experimenting a bit and maybe spring some surprises on Penrith next week.

  A ‘take down’ icon..!!! You just created a new saying. “that guy deserves to be Lewised’ or ” Gee, I’d like to Lewis him” or “if you don’t shut your face I’ll give you the Lewis”
