It’s time for the QClash as Brisbane host Gold Coast at the Gabba looking to continue their stronghold over their Queensland rivals. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:30pm (AEST).
The Lions are currently on a six-match winning streak, storming past Essendon in the second half last week to confirm their premiership credentials.
The Suns, meanwhile, are off the pace, despite last week’s win over lowly West Coast, and with forwards Levi Casboult, Nick Holman and Ben Ainsworth all back in the fold, have no excuses if they want to keep their hopes of a maiden finals berth alive.
Venue: The Gabba, Brisbane

Lions looking solid. Asterisk on that win, Don. After all Richmond (14th) beat them too.

You’re right I think after tbe Bombers defeating the tigers this is now the longest streak without a win

The Gold Coast have to start winning these games if they are to be taken seriously. Beating West Coast by 70+ points means nothing. West Coast are an injury ravaged WAFL side. Dew was out coached. Honourable losses no longer cut it.

Freo did.. against the Premiers.
