Gold Coast welcome back captain Touk Miller for his first game since Round 6 as they head to Adelaide to take on the red-hot Port Adelaide. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

Miller’s return comes not a minute too soon for the Suns, with two dire losses in their past three games heaping pressure on coach Stuart Dew.

However, the Power are on a 12-game winning streak and sit pretty in second spot on the ladder, so the Suns star’s return won’t be enough to turn the tide on its own.

Well that first half had me thinking omfg I’m right my gut was spot on we’re in trouble here and then bang bang. Be nice to maybe put a few teams away a bit better but otherwise can’t complain. So many more guys that can stand up in big moments which we’ve never had before, we always relied on too few to carry us on their shoulders now there’s multiple options.

This game serves as a reminder that Aliir Aliir is an incredible defender, and easily Port Adelaide's most important player. Mckenzie goes out, leaving Aliir to hold up the defence as the lone tall. He then wins every single aerial contest for the rest of the game, completely shutting out any chance of an upset and providing the security needed to blast the match open in the 3rd quarter. Excellent piece of recruiting picking him up from Sydney and is pivotal to the power flag push.

You could make a very strong argument that the Suns were the better side for three quarters.

Another 1 quarter performance when we need the percentage boost. Ill be frustrated if we miss out on top 2 because of it. Especially with games against collingwood, geelong in geelong and the crows to come

Probably not. He probably won't get the sack until the end of the season if it does happen. Doesn't mean it shouldn't have happened five years ago.
